Wood Floors & Water

Everyone knows summer thunderstorms in our area can lead to flash flooding pretty quickly. Many people do not properly prepare as they are used to these thunderstorms but some can cause some pretty serious damage. Our SERVPRO team was called out to a house that experienced some water damage in their basement after a storm. The hardwood floors were effected and the foundation underneath needed to be dried out as well. The guys unfortunately had to take the hardwood flooring up to ensure that the water underneath could be dried completely. The customer was very happy with the results and how quickly everything was completed.
